It is indeed my birthday today, as Diana announced in the comments yesterday. Thank you for all the good wishes. This time last year, while I had been blogging for a while, I didn't have any blogger friends, and now, I can't imagine not being part of a world which has immeasurably added to my life. Thank you, everyone!
It is raining. Torrentially. The shed roof was done at just the right time! I have just been to have breakfast with the babes. The twins and I share a birthday, and they are 4 today. I remember the day they were born so well...... I looked after Bekah for the day, and now I say we are triplets. 4+4+53=61/3=20.333 etc. So we are all 20 today. She says, grinning. At least I will always know where a party is being held on my birthday! Breakfast was a party too. Coco-pops and croissants. And lots of laughter and noise. And Mr Potatoehead and mermaids and Barbie dolls and helicopters. And coffee. Who could ask for a better start to the day?
I'm honored to be the first,(on todays blog I know a few did yesterday) to wish you Happy
ReplyDeleteBirthday. ((hugs))
How wonderful to share a birthday with your twin babies. I love the way you made your all 20 triplets!!!
I wouldn't go back to 20 for anything. Would you? Didn't know who I was then. I do know who I am today and I'm glad to be learning more and more who you are Linds. You are truly one of my blogland friends and I look forward each day to "hearing" from you.
Glad you got that roof done in time.
Susan
Happy Birthday :) I won't serenade you with Happy Birthday on the guitar down the phone as I have been known to do :)
ReplyDeleteAaarrrggghhh, I didn't know it was your birthday today!! Happy Birthday dear Linds, hope your day continues to be a wonderful one:-) xoxo
ReplyDeleteNow I know the secret to staying young....celebrate your birthday with others and divide the number :)...may your day continue to be wonderful....doing all the things you so enjoy!!!!! blessings my friend!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy, happy birthday to you, my friend! God's best to you today and always!
ReplyDeleteHAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY LINDS!! I didn't get to read your post yesterday so didn't know. I'm so glad it was so much fun. How great that you share your birthday with the twins.
ReplyDeleteWe are very soggy here too. It has been raining on and off for three days - very unusual for us. So no big plans for Memorial Day.
Have a blessed weekend and a fun week!!
Hi Linds!
ReplyDeleteA very Happy Birthday to you! I'm so glad we became blogging friends!
Today was my dear late MIL's birthday too!
(she would have been 99) I wouldn't want to be that age, but I'm glad I'm not 20 either.
Your doing that shed roof makes me admire you all the more!
Hope it's a fantastic day!!
xo
That sounds like a perfect way to start a day, especially a birthday. Hope the rest of your day was just right!!
ReplyDeleteHappy B-day, again!
I somehow am terribly behind! I read the last 3 and chuckled and sighed with you. First, Happy Birthday! What a great way to celebrate. Second, you are a very brave lady to do all of that repair work and yard work. I have told my husband many times that if the unthinkable (which has happened to you) happened to me, I would have to sell and live in a condo or something, because I'd be lost having to start learning all the stuff he so faithfully does for us. I feel for you, in a very real way. Third, what a delightful concert (but sorry you were squushed and hot!). I love your comment about their mothers being proud.
ReplyDeleteMy brother's birthday is today as well - the one down the road from you in Manchester.
Fourth - I also feel for you in your struggles about teaching. As I've mentioned before, I could not imagine myself doing that, though it's what I went to college for. I do not have one iota of patience remaining for insubordination and lack of respect, which is what I see all over the world in school kids. And even in church kids, unfortunately!
Well - talk to you later. Didn't mean to write a book!
I hope you had a lovely birthday and that the year brings many wonderful moments, shared with those you love, as well as tons of peaceful, quiet moments for yourself!!
ReplyDeleteYou are ambitious to do the roof by yourself. I helped a bit when we shingled our house last summer and it is hard on the legs and knees. But it's lovely when the rains come and the inside stays dry :))
Enjoy your week of holidays! I'm off to school tomorrow, but there are only 22 days left - and many things to still accomplish!
I cant sing, so I will just say Happy Birthday to all 3 of you!!
ReplyDeleteWith Many Happy Returns, of course!
Oh yes "faith" you are!!! I just posted a new Guest Book would you please come back to my site and sign it. Thanks :o)
ReplyDeleteSusan
Oh Linds, I'm going to be so sad if you can't sign. I'm going to contact them and see about that.
ReplyDelete;o( Susan
Hi Linds - Me AGAIN!! I couldn't find out anything on their website. Would you mind trying again and this time just put in Great Briton or England and see what happens. If you have time and don't mind!!!! Thanks :o)
