Last evening....

It is 11.20pm and the cases are nearly packed. Today I have made her a Union Jack cushion with pretty fabric, and crocheted her a hat after we went to find the wool this morning. Made bread. Done the shopping. Cooked supper. The phone had been ringing, skype has been on the go and there have been visitors. And now it is dark, and time for bed, because her plane leaves early tomorrow.

Sigh.

  2. Oh, that time has flown! I know how heavy your heart is tonight. It is always so hard to say good-bye to them, isn't it? Praying that her trip will be safe and you will soon be together again. ((( HUGS )))

  4. I am sighing with you, dear friend. Kev will be home for only a week before going back for 6 months, but we'll enjoy every moment.

  6. Oh I so hate those good byes! I think it comes from my boarding school days when it seemed like I was saying good bye to some one all the time. Never have gotten over it. Will be thinking of you and hope you can keep the time filled so that things aren't too quiet. I like you have a mind that races around from thing to thing, I guess they call it Adult Attention Deficit. It seems sometimes I get so many things going at once that I don't get anything finished! It is hard to stay focused sometimes isn't it? Enjoy your garden, that's the one place I can stay really focused when I am pulling those darned old weeds!! ha!
