There are signs of Spring today, even though the day started out damp and grey and chilly. The sun is beginning to shine and I just popped out into the garden because I saw a flash of pink on the camellia bush.
And the legions of ladybirds have returned. They saved my apple tree from some kind of fungus last year - they ate it all, and so they are very welcome, even if they are not the UK ladybird any more. These are the other kind. I think. But, hey, if they do their job, I can live with them.
The daffs inside the house are beginning to wilt. I need to get more and the ones in the garden should be open soon, but they look so good out there, I hate to cut them and bring them in!

Enjoy your read, snooze, snack, whatever you are doing this day.
I have always loved the crocus. I am like you in that I hate to cut the flowers to bring them in because they look so pretty in the garden. It's a real dilemma.
ReplyDeleteAs I write, I am babysitting while my daughter and son-in-law have a night out! It's a pleasure really because I get to have some time with Little Pink Flower, so it's a win/win situation!
ReplyDeleteOh how wonderful! We are a good way behind you here, but I did find some snowdrops flowering this morning!!
ReplyDeleteYour garden is looking so beautiful! Mine is still covered in drifts :) We took my parents and an aunt and uncle on a road trip to Calgary to see our son and his wife in their new home, our niece, and our daughter and grandkids. It was lots of fun being together for 6 hours in the car! I'm so glad I got to do this with them.
