All ready.....

The hall is decorated.
I will take more photos tomorrow.
It looks beautiful.
I am comatose.
The bride is delighted.
It is still pouring with rain.

And

Worst of all.....

I HAVE NOT GOT THE FAINTEST IDEA WHAT I WILL BE WEARING!

I neglected to give a moment's thought to what I will actually be wearing to this wedding. I may be going in jeans.

  1. It looks fantastic Linds. Well done! Drape yourself in excess beads and you will look wonderful. And camouflaged. Lxx

  2. I was about to suggest you try and do something with the left over ivy - but beads would also work ;) Well done for the arrangements, that was one mammoth task. The tables look stunning and you made it sound like something you just 'did'. Have a lovely time at the wedding.

Oh yes, and those pictures (last post were trippy. Nice looking lot. although picture 3 is a stunner ;)

  5. Lovely table! I too hope it stops raining. Just think, if you'd been working, you wouldn't have had time to do this for your friend - a deeply disguised blessing this knee thing has been!

I love the pix of you, your mom, and your grandma. Amazing similarities!

I hope you find something to wear tomorrow - will you be walking?

Where are these pictures that you have on your sidebar, and now do you do that??

  6. Lovely, and I'll be looking for the rest of the pictures from the wedding.

You, your Mom and Grandmother all look a lot alike! I though that second picture was a picture of you from your youth.

Hope you manage to get in to the Dr. as soon as possible. November!? Good grief, you could have permanent damage long before then! Not to mention the pain and inconvenience in the meantime.

Hope the wedding goes off without a hitch and you find something magical to wear to it. Something magical that crutches will accessorize well. ;o)

    Happy weekend!

    Love and hugs,

    Diane

I'm sure by now you have found a wonderfully gorgeous outfit for the wedding. It all looks just lovely - and of course the bride is delighted.
I love the photos - and I agree, the similarities are amazing. If it wasn't for the different hairstyles I would have thought they were all of you!
Have a great time at the wedding!

Hopefully you were able to fashion a lovely outfit with the beads, flowers and a few lengths of cloth :)) And I hope the knee was able to carry you through the celebrations. Was really struck by how alike you all look in the previous photos too. I love seeing family photographs like that.
