A meme and stuff.....

Donnetta from My Quiet Corner has a meme up and anyone can join in. As I am trying to keep all the balls in the air here, but still want to actually speak on the blog so you will not all disappear into thin air, I am grabbing the idea!

The Rules: Use the 1st letter of your name to answer each of the following questions.

They have to be real places, names, things - nothing made up!

You can’t use your name for the boy/girl name question.

(Tag at least 5 people to play along )

1. What is your name? Linds
2. A 4 Letter Word: Love
3. A Boy's Name: Liam
4. A Girl's Name: Lucy
5. An Occupation: Lumberjack
6. A Color: Lilac
7. Something you wear: Lipgloss
8. A Beverage: Lemonade
9. A Food: Lobster
10. Something found in the bathroom: Loo-paper
11. A place: Lapland
12. A Reason for being late: Lethargy
13. Something you shout: Look!
14. Tag...... anyone who wants to play along!

If there is one thing you do today, take part in the Mother Letter project which Shannon has posted about. I have emailed mine already. This is such a wonderful thing to be a part of! Go now!

I am gathering all the bits I need to start sawing up wood to make some presents. I need to move the microwave as it is next to the saw. It should be in the microwave casing in the built in units, but that means moving the fridge, which mean moving the table, which means taking the stuff off the table which means where will I put the old microwave and all the stuff on the fridge, never mind in the fridge and it is heavy and what if it doesn't fit and can I move it in the first place and should I even try and I want to use the saw and .......

So you see, things are a little fraught about the place right now. The last week of November is almost here. I am still stuck in April. I am so full of good intentions. Groan. And the leg.... I am pretending it is fine, and it does not like being ignored. I wear jeans and I can't see it, so like an ostrich I think - hey I can do. No. I. Can't. Screech. Maybe food would help. I am off to see what I can cook for supper.

  1. That's strange about the pictures - I sure hope they show up soon, because I spent a great deal of time fighting with Blogger to get them on - the spacing was always bad, so I was deleting spaces and kept deleting pictures and having to back and reposition them. Very irritating! We did indeed have a lovely vacation and saw wonderful things and lovely people.

Christmas is so close! And my Kristen's and Sema's birthdays are even closer. Yikes!!

  2. My real name also starts with an L! I laughed (in sympathy) with you having to move everything to move the one thing, it happens often at my house too!

  3. Thanks for playing along! I put your link on mine so other's can stop by and take a look.

I am amazed at how quickly you were able to come up with your words. I wonder why mine seemed to be a bit difficult?? Hhhmmmm.....

    Happy Friday.

  5. Please reassure me that common sense (or your knee) won and the fridge remained exactly in the same position?

  6. Linda,

The scenario you have described happens in this house too. Our space is limited and it often requires moving one thing to move another.

Thank you for your kind words and loving support in reference to Aunt May's journey. Your sentiments are greatly appreciated.

    Blessings,
    Mary

  7. I so enjoyed that meme...I'm still giggling at the "loo paper"! LOL Leave it to you to think of Loo so that it would fit in. hehe Love it!

As the saying goes, if you want to move one thing, it ends up snowballing and before you know it, the whole room has been changed. lol Hope you can get to using your saw soon...I'm still in awe that you know how to use one!!! xoxo
