I have:
- Been for a walk
- Done my exercises
- Been to hydro
- Watered plants for a friend
- Let dogs out for a friend
- A headache
- Need to have a snooze......................
We are starting to compile a booklet on CRPS for patients at the moment, and David, bless him, copied the entire existing out of date booklet into a word document to give us something to work with. This will take time, and hopefully we will have a version for doctors too soon. That ultrasound one I had the misfortune to run into before Easter could do with one. Or a hundred. Did I mention the ultrasound???? I can't remember. Sigh. I think I tell people things and then discover that I have but only in my imagination.
Margaret, the garden fairy has just popped round to tell me the allotment soil is excellent to work with at the moment. After the torrential rain we had yesterday. So I think that could well be where my son will be tomorrow. I will be sitting in the garden chair supervising. I may wave a rake around from the chair. May.
I have been reading about the 30 Day Shred which half of Blogland is doing at the moment, so I thought I would see if the DVD was available here. Sadly it is not. Not yet, unless you happen to have a multi-regional DVD player thingy. I don't. But after reading this and nearly losing the ability to breathe, I was laughing so hard, maybe I should be thankful. Seriously, the tears of laughter were flowing freely here, and then I started reading the comments and it nearly finished me off totally. I looked like a racoon. Our Sophie has a definite way with words. Oh to be a fly on her wall!
So on that note, I will leave you all and go and have that snooze. Happy Tuesday!
I must be out of the loop. What is the 30 Day Shred??
ReplyDeleteSupervising at the garden (allottment) sounds like a good plan!
We had a big owl in one of our trees Sunday - what a special treat. I will post pictures.
I know I ought to do it, but I am just plain lazy right now. A walk is about all I can manage. I will go read Sophie's post though, because I always love a good laugh.
ReplyDeleteHave a good day Linds.
Sorry....I haven't heard of the 30 Day Shred. Guess I was away from blogging too long.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that you are compiling a book regarding the CRPS. I am sure many will find it helpful in the future.
Thirty-day Shred...shred not shed. At first, I thought it might be a diet plan. Okay, I'll follow the link and see what I can learn. Hope that you resist the urge to do more than supervise tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteOhhhh, I was not so wrong after all. Now that kind of thing is so definitely not for me. The only exercise I've had lately is bending my right elbow and moving my fingers across this keyboard.
ReplyDeleteWhat is a 30 Shred? I guess I am loopless!
ReplyDeleteI hope you headache goes away quickly.
I had to laugh at your post too and yes, that is a robin redbreast...Whoohoo!
I wish we had more around here. They are a sign of spring!
Hugs!
I love your bird categories. My husband has a similar one for flowers, which goes something like: daisy, tulip, daffodil, rhododendron, a pink one, I don't know, rose, rhododendron (he likes saying rhododendron, and so can identify those fairly consistently).
ReplyDeleteWhere I live, you would be fairly safe saying that if it's white-ish, it's a seagull, if it's black it's a crow, and if it's neither of those it's a pigeon. We have recently acquired a pair of visiting greenfinches, though, which is nice. They're green, helpfully.
30 Day Shred? Shed? I'm clueless too but I could use 30 days of shedding some of this winter flab! I'll have to check out the link! I'm trying to teach my grandchildren the different birds but I need to get out my bird book and take a crash course on some of them! We did see a mallard duck today and I told them the male is a drake but couldn't rememeber what the female is called. Maybe just MOM! :o)
ReplyDeleteTake care! xoxox
Linds, I tried sending a reply to your last comment, but managed to make it not go.
ReplyDeleteI hope your knee is doing well. Mine is still undecided, but even I am tired of discussing it.
Springtime wouldn't be the same without your beautiful pictures of it. Please keep them coming.
Immortalised in your blog. I'm honoured.
ReplyDeleteJ x
Sometimes I think trying to find a title for our posts the hardest thing about blogging! LOL
ReplyDeleteI've just gone over to BooMama's blog to read her post about the 30 Day Shred...she's hysterical and I've got tears running down my cheeks from laughing so hard! I had never even heard of this video...I know, I'm sooo deprived! hehe Don't think I'll be buying that video, though! lol
Hope you're having a wonderful weekend, dear friend. xoxo
Can't imagine what this 30 Day Shred is, but I'm so behind this week!
ReplyDeleteI thought I read a lot of blogs, but obviously not the half that's involved in this!
Hope all is going well with you!
xo
How's things going? I always enjoy reading your posts.
ReplyDeleteHad to laugh at your description of bird knowledge. My Dad has always loved birds so a wee bit of that has rubbed off on me. Not that I've got bird feeders and houses up here yet...the time will come.
Have a blessed day.
Peeking in...tiptoeing out...
