Ahem....... I could think of a few BETTER photos from my youth, daughter of mine.

But

Thanks, Sweetie. I think.

This is what happens, people, when your daughter is the one who set up the blog in the first place!

I am off to celebrate. You know. Clean the house. Bake something. Maybe. Do the washing.....!

Happy Birthday! 54, a grand age no doubt. And still the best part of a year or two younger than some Barton-resident parents I know.

Happy Birthday Linds at 54 years young.
The best bit at Canterbury is having the degree ceremony in the Cathedral.
Sea story interesting. Yours was certainly VERY different to mine on a tiny cargo ship withthe only chance to swim would be when the sea poured over the side.

Happy Birthday!

If there's a better photo, I'd like to see it. The one they picked is pretty darn cute!

How adorable and how loved you are. I think it's so wonderful when kids not only love their parents dearly but can, and do, express it. You are indeed blessed. Enjoy it exceedingly!!!!

That is so cute that your daughter hijacked your site and posted such an adorable picture. But my, you are still so young!! I am sorry I'm so late with my greetings - I am just now getting around to visiting and found your birthday at Pea's place (of course!)

The picture of Canterbury is just wonderful. I think living and studying on a real campus is the best way to go to college. To me, going in the place you grew up is more like advanced high school. I know he'll love it and enjoy it.

We had a rained out Memorial Day. But we had celebrated on Sunday, which was beautiful, because my brother and SIL who come from Oklahoma for the Bolder Boulder race could only come up for about 3 hours on Sunday. It was lovely.

Enjoy the rest of your holiday!
