Oh, what a beautiful morning.......

Way below freezing.....
Waking to a frozen world.....
Just SO beautiful.....

You stop to catch your breath, and really look......

How can you not smile?
If I could, I would have been skipping down the road in delight......

Leaves on my rose bush.....
Oh wow. Just such a stunning morning.
And such a delight to get back inside and warm up with a steaming mug of coffee. And 47 layers of clothes, which one forgot to layer on before one shot out the door clutching one's camera. Oooh! Look at that tree..... then OOOH... Look at THAT tree, and the next thing one knew, one was round the corner and down the lane. No hat. No gloves. No scarf. No coat. Wearing pink striped socks and gardening shoes. (And jeans and jumper.)
What a prefect start to the day.

It's beautiful. A good day to sit near a window and watch all that beauty but from inside...where it's warm...and there's coffee...and it's warm. Did I mention warm?

Exquisite!

Linds, I thought you were going to say that you were still in pjs skipping down the street and around the corner. Glad to know that you were dressed, which is more than I would be first thing in the morning.

It is actually just gorgeous!!! It is especially nice when one can just sit and look at it instead of getting out and functioning in it.

Catching up on the GOW posts - you are hilarious!!!! I agree with you on the use of BAD english. The "me and him" is driving me nuts!!!!

It really has been magical here too, despite the cold.

I have been admiring that beauty too, and wishing I had an opportunity to take pictures. So nice to see yours.

Linds, how wonderful it is that you are seeing the beauty in the snow and ice. Indeed, it is magical! Especially when you are warm inside!

There are some trees like this just opposite the office window. Superb.

So beautiful! I love how clear blue the sky is behind all the frozen bits. It's like a magical place.

Yes, with those views one can skip outdoors and marvel at all the beauty. Thanks for the visit!

I love the big wide tree and the rose leaves! So, so beautiful! They would look awesome as big canvases on your wall. I know what you mean about going just a bit further to get another picture! Your village looks like it's ready for Christmas with all the frost. Thanks for showing us the magic.

Spectacular pictures! We haven't had ice like that for some time but when it does happen I love the photo opps if not trying to walk without taking a header!

You house looks so nice with all of your decorations. I love the idea of the bunting and may have to give that a whirl one of these days. I have lots of Christmas fabric from over the years that I would love to use up in something pretty.

I get so annoyed at how people lose all command of the English language too. The one that gets me is "I seen that or he seen it the other day" Grrrrrrrrr...... Of course you haven't heard anything until you've heard a bad Maine accent! ha!

It is indeed beautiful! We haven't had such a sight in a long time. Glad you could capture it - especially the rosebush!

Your site looks lovely, too - remember when you were afraid to change your blog look?
