I am a genius. Of course......

I have been playing. Or rather, I sat down and refused to move until I got this blog up and running in a familiar fashion again. Page elements????? Where did they come from???? I have been zooming back and forth to Blogging Basics 101 to try to see what to do. Thank you, ladies! You are life-savers!

I really wanted some misty mountains in the background, but then I gave up, and seeing that I was married to a career sailor, the harbour template seems an appropriate alternative. For now. It feels roomy and spacious, and I can spread out a little. I am stretching as I speak. Being hunched over the keyboard with gritted teeth makes me creak.

So that's the noise I could hear all the way from there...your teeth grinding together! lol I havent' dared upgrade my template because right now I know how to change a bunch of stuff...if I upgrade I know I'd be lost. I do like the wide open and clean look you have right now, though...I agree with you, Blogging Basics 101 is a lifesaver, I've gone to their site quite often for help! lol xox

It looks very fresh and lovely. I love your picture at the ocean.

If it weren't for my daughter, I would not have a clue. Not a clue. I still don't have a clue - I just let her take over. I am blessed with her brilliance.

It's a nice peaceful look. At least you still have a sense of humor about it all. :)

Very impressed. There's no way I'm touching mine! Daughter 1 set it up for me and I'm only too grateful that it works.

Sorry that you're feeling a bit whatever-it-is - bewildered? You've had a very tough time with not a lot of "you" time to mend yourself. Hope things improve. Be good to yourself. Leaping straight into teaching, especially when you're one of the good guys who does the job properly, wasn't exactly the most restful thing to do after such a tragic and sudden bereavement.

What you need is a new sofa, of course. Ours were from Marks and Spencer - so, not exactly exclusive! They're very comfy (the cats love them). The style (is that the word?) is called Charlotte. We got a 3 seater and a small 2 seater, because the room (the one the cats are allowed in) isn't very big. And a footstool. But there's also a larger 2 seater. And armchairs, I think.

Do tell me if you get it/them. What a fun blogging development that would be. I'd be an interior consultant...

Now I read that, I realise it looks like I'm some mad M and S saleslady. It's ok, Linds' friends: Linds saw our sofas on my blog and asked where I got them. I don't have shares in the company. Which is unfortunate, since they seem to be doing quite well at the moment...

It all looks lovely Linds. I love your picture and the ocean and mountains in the background. Good job! I would be too afraid to even try to do what you've accomplished.
