News

I have some news. Today I went for an interview at another school on the other side of town, and was offered the job! I start on Monday. You have no idea what a relief this is. I have not been through a 4 hour interview/trial before, and it was actually fine. I was very relaxed, and it was great to be back in a classroom. Anyway, there were 4 of us, and I was offered the post. I bought some carrot cakes on the way home to celebrate. Small insignificant ones..... that is why I use the plural!

So now I have to finish all the bits of things I need to do around here this week, and take Mum out for a bit, and contemplate Christmas, and what has to be done before then, so life will be speeding up again. Not that it ever slowed down, but you get what I mean, I am sure. And the secret projects need to be finished too, and curtains to make.........why am I sitting here? I should be working!

Congratulations. I hope this job will be all that you want it to be.
Looks like any further meetings will have to be in school holidays.
