The best laid plans etc etc etc..... I wrapped all my presents a while back and then yesterday, I remembered that I had to post a parcel. Well, in my enthusiasm to wrap, I completely forgot the practicalities of posting. So we are back to square one, and I have to re-jig what I send. Sigh. If you could have seen my attempts to get a Christmas tree into a box, you would know just how ridiculous it was.
The world is foggy and very cold this morning. The dampness gets right into the bones, as my grandmother used to say. Believe me, it is in my bones as I speak. And it can get out immediately. I do not like it there.
The sewing continues, and I keep thinking of new things to try out, so I now have a pile of assorted crafty stuff next to my machine. As I dream up something, I look for the required stuff, and then pile it up. But, I go back to what I was doing in the first place, so the pile is getting to skyscraper levels. And I can't remember why the stuff at the bottom is there at all. I am clearly firing on all cylinders. The dampness. That is what it is.
Right. It is Friday and I am off to finish Plan A so I can get to Plan B, C D etc etc etc.......
I will be back.

I do the same thing and I have absolutely NO excuse. My sewing room looks as though someone set a bomb off in there with so many different projects going at the same time. UGH!
Vicky Pruitt from East Texas says...
I've gotten to where I have to pin a note on each project so that as I come to it, I will know what it is, whose it is, and when it is 'due'. Doesn't that sound so organized? Not really...my sewing room looks just like the Needled Mom's. This aging business is getting old! Oops, no pun intended! Have a wonderful weekend!
At least you have projects going! I thought you were going to say you couldn't find the gifts you'd wrapped. I finally have some shopping done and now need to wrap - after the 3 concerts this week-end!
My kitchen table looks like that - papers, sewing, giveaways from the great china cabinet cleaning, and lists everywhere! I have box to mail to NYC today so that project is off the list. Good luck sorting and getting done. I've already got a list of "must-dos for January instead of leaving it to next December" - I think I had that list last year too! Stay warm, if you can :))
We're having one of those bone-chilling days today too Linds. Brrr.....
I'm still in the middle of writing letters to go in cards to America. Presents? what are they?
