I am sick of the rain...........

Weather Report: You know what is coming, don't you??? Yes. Rain. More rain. And some parts of the country will have temps of -9C this weekend. Give me strength.

I have just returned from aquazumba, and I am creaking, people. Creaking. Most of me was up for the exercise, but the leg decided otherwise, so I dragged it along anyway. Hmmmph. Maybe I am the reason Debbie, our teacher, keeps saying "Smile, girls!"

I am very tempted to retire for the day, but maybe I will go and cut the other scraps up and make some baby bunting. It will be using up things and heaven knows I need to use up everything in the sewing room because it is totally out of hand in there. I also need to drag out all the fabric and cut it into strips or something because half I will not use, and the other half has been there far too long. On the positive side, I ordered some more red binding because I have used up the 50 metres already, and Dawn, the lovely lady at Knit Sew Craft has already sent it and added in a sample of gorgeous ric rac too. She is a star. Remember, UK people, try her before you go anywhere else for haberdashery stuff. She is amazing. I just love finding places who have great products and excellent service - that is why I am singing her praises here. A miracle.
I do like miracles. Jean is having a wonderful time in Nepal. She took a flight around Everest and I am sure her photos will be superb. What a fantastic opportunity! She gets back next week. Which is good, because we all miss her - me especially. She will not be thrilled about all the rain though.

This has been a quiet week for me, because I have had another mini flare of the CRPS, which has been inconvenient, to say the least. Just when I think I have things under a modicum of control, it all goes haywire.  My GP is getting used to seeing me in a miserable challenging state. So increased meds yet again. More stuff to monitor. Sigh. BUT we will overcome. I just sat there in her office and wailed - everything I love doing is slowly being taken away and then I got home and found out that the bride's mother - the one with the leg in plaster/brace until the wedding? Yes. Sue. Well, she collapsed on Sunday and was rushed into hospital and on Tuesday, had a major op on her innards. So now the poor girl has to heal from that, with the leg in a brace too 24 hours a day, and try to be well enough to be at her baby's wedding. So you see, my problems pale into insignificance, don't they. They do indeed. Prayers for her rapid and complete recovery would be really good, people.

So.

Yes. I think I will work on getting rid of all the scraps today. I may even empty a shelf of fabric if I can muster the strength to face the inevitable chaos. But it will be a start.

Oh, poor Sue. I will definitely keep her in my prayers. That must be dreadful.

Maybe the sun would shine if they lift the hose ban!!!! We haven't seen much sunshine lately either - late rains and heavy drizzle. It is really tiring. I think we both need a sun dance.

I would love to see some of Jean's pictures. I'll bet they will be spectacular.

Oh, what a bad time for Sue! It should be so much fun and excitement when a daughter gets married. I hope she will bounce back quickly. Jean's trip sounds so interesting - maybe she could do a guest post for you when she's back :) -9????!! That's going to be very hard on your plants! Hope you feel better soon, Linds.

Oh, how dreadful! Blogger wasn't cooperating and then all of a sudden I had my comments posted 4 times! I deleted them but now you have them as deleted. So sorry, LInds!
