Moons......

I have just been outside in the dark to look at the moon. Have you checked it tonight? Tomorrow, it will be the closest to earth for 18 years. Big. Bright. A full moon. It is huge tonight, and oh, so bright. Just beautiful. And tomorrow it will be bigger and brighter. So don't forget to look at it!

This has been a quiet and introspective day, followed by dinner with friends. A good day, but ironically, very tiring. And hopefully the sun will shine this weekend, and we can all get out into our gardens. I am so ready for it to be real Spring now. I had a look at the apple tree, and there are buds all over it, as there are on the lilac, and the forsythia is blooming with the daffodils, so it can't be far off now.

I wrote a long post today but I am not sure if I will actually push the publish button yet. Maybe. I will have to think about it some more. The eternal blogging dilemma!

Have a great weekend, everyone.

Sounds as if you've done some deep thinking. Yes, I am looking forward to seeing this gigantic moon. I am planning to go in search of it from the time it first rises tomorrow night. It's a bit overcast tonight so I've not yet found it.

Hope that you get to dig and putter about in the garden. Some warmth would be good for that mission. May you get a nice, warm day.

Yesterday, someone said that all the frogs were singing last night. A true sign spring is coming to the South here.

I, too, and wanting Spring. However, the blizzard we had today spoke otherwise. Sigh.

Love you, my friend. Cannot wait until we talk again! You have forever spoiled me.

I am hoping the clouds will roll back tonight so that I can see that moon. I've been looking forward to it. Creation in all its amazing beauty. I can't wait.

We have, I think, entered real Spring here and it is just glorious!

Yes, the big moon. We have someone here who has forecast a large earthquake with that large moon so I would prefer that the moon get small in a hurry. I don't normally worry about those things but after Japan's events it does have me a little more on the edge. I will still go out and enjoy the moon tonight - through the clouds!!

We enjoyed it last night as we drove east to our Bible study but I didn't have the camera along. And today it has been foggy, cloudy and very un-springlike so it doesn't look like we will see it at all :( I hope you get in the garden soon - I am planting tomato, cantaloupe and watermelon seeds indoors tomorrow. Happy Day of Worship tomorrow!

It's 8:00 Saturday evening and the gigantic moon is trying to peak through cloud cover. Rats!

Yes the moon was big, and bright! I should have tried to get a picture but my good camera is on the blink. I don't think my point and shoot would handle it.

Wow! You have done a lot of posts! That is so great and I have read the vast majority of them although I do get behind with everyone sometimes.

I am jealous of your budding trees and bushes. We are forecast for 3 to 5 inches of snow tomorrow. :o(
I am happy for you though and will live vicariously through you out in your garden.

As always I love your writing, may you do that many posts again!!!
