This is my England....

No school. No physio. Roads closed. Abandoned cars. No work. No grit on roads. More to come. I am going for a walk with my camera and the Leki poles.
Back soon.

That snow sure does make for some stunning photographs. I have suddenly had a massive shift in perspective.

A winter wonderland surprised and irritated a few people. Yes, capture it and tell your grandchildren about the winter of '09.

Looks like home - but not very often this year. We need more in order to have water this coming summer. Haven't heard a word from Manchester about this - did they get it too??

Be careful out there! It can be really treacherous. But looking forward to more of your photography.

Looks like a lot of the U.S. has only some of us had the ice, instead of snow. What happened to Al Gore and global warming?!!!!

It seems so strange looking at these photos - it's hard to image the cold when you're in the middle of a heatwave and bushfires are raging around the state ... Oh if we could just pick up loads of that snow along with the floods in Northern Queensland and pour it over the fires ...... Take care out there.
