Back in the water again....

Well hello, everyone.

And how is your day going? I went back to aqua today - albeit my own rather gentle variation of a very energetic class, but hey, I got back in the water. That is good. The level of intensity of my exercise is measured by how wet my hair gets. It was almost dry this time, which has NEVER happened before, and we almost, but not quite, needed a crane to get up the stairs, but conquered them in the end. Slowly.

It was good to be back in the water.

The problems with the broadband speed continue - I have just spoken a to a man called Wayne, who cheerily told me that 1.88mb/s was a perfectly reasonable speed for broadband. That conversation did not last long. Next February, remind me to change to cable. Dire. Just dire. And all I wanted was a date for the repair to be made to the line. Oh well. I was not all sweetness and light, I confess, and his cheeriness was the final straw.  The patience was fraying at the edges a bit. Having to endure 4 minutes of options to reach a human is enough to try the patience of a saint, and we have already discussed the fact that I do not have one saintly bone in my body.

So, back to happy cheery things - apart from Wayne. He does not count. The sun has shone all day, although the temps are anything but tropical, and the daffodils in the garden may well be opening their eyes tomorrow. I can't wait for the splashes of colour to brighten up the landscape! Come on, Spring - I need some warmth!

Speaking of daffodils, my house is full of them. I love them. Peter and Glynis popped round for tea yesterday afternoon and came bearing 2 bunches. I love this little joined up vase - it is always fun to try and guess which of the daffodils will open first, and they look lovely peering out of my front window, don't they....

So now I am off to conjure up something for supper, because tonight it is "attempt to sing" night. Whatever you may be doing today, have fun and remember to grin!

I love the cheery daffodils in that darling vase. They are just happy flowers, aren't they?

We had terrible trouble with our broadband speed until eventually an engineer came and found that we had too many extension points around the house - we weren't using them they were just there! He disconnected all but the main one as our phone works its extensions wirelessly from one master one and hey presto reasonable broadband. It's never going to be super fast unless the phone system around here changes and there's no possibility of cable but it's now acceptable. Just something that might be a factor in your problems ...

Daffodils are my favourite! They are, literally, the only flowers that have managed to survive in our garden despite my black thumbs and Michael's tendency to pull out anything he thinks looks untidy.
