I am sitting here with the phone tucked under my chin, plowing through all the paperwork, doing very unexciting bits and pieces, and chasing reports which never come, and my head hurts. I want to be doing exciting things. New things. I am in a blue funk today and I don't like it. Reading some of my favourite blogs is a way to distract myself from lists of solicitors I need to check out. I don't want to be doing this.
So, what are my 5 things I am thankful for today? This is an effort to snap out of it...
- My daughter has had a super birthday
- I am about to have a tutorial in 2D design from a young friend
- Coffee
- Quiet
- The sun is trying to shine

I'll go visit her blog. I love the name of it!
Thank you so much for visiting. I love it when I get to meet a new friend. I'm glad those verses helped. When I saw the video that went with it at Bible Study I couldn't hold back the tears. The Father's love is so amazing.
I think we have quilting in common - although I am a rank beginner. My mom is attempting to teach me.
I hope you feel better. I know how that blue funk can just seem to hit from out of nowhere. Counting blessings does help.
Have a good day.
"the sun is trying to shine" - same here! and that should get us out of our blue funk, don't ya think?
thanks for stopping by!
The sun's not even trying here. Rain, rain, rain. In Colorado for pete's sake. I'd much rather have snow. I'm in kind of a blue funk myself, but it's because I'm tired. I have the next two days all to myself. That will snap me out of it! Me, myself and I are going to party!
I'm changing the subject now but the Unicef report on childhood poverty infuriates me! I had to get that off my chest.
