Then there are the blogs read, emails written, and conversations had, and text messages sent and received, and you get a picture of my wildly exciting life. I should be in France right now, in the sun. Next to the pool. With a glass of wine in hand. Preparing to celebrate a 60th birthday with friends. I am not. I am here in the rain, with the prospect of today all over again tomorrow. With another parents' evening thrown in for good measure.
Good heavens. If I look at my posts in recent days, I depress myself. If you met me, you would know that I am not a depressing person at all. In fact, if you met me (and yes, I know a lot of you know me IRL) you would know I am cheerful and positive. I am. My only excuse is that the end of the school year is approaching, and I am SO ready for a holiday break. I am tired. I droop. A bit. Just a little. But I have a wonderful trip to look forward to (she says, hauling herself upright.)
I need more coffee.

You deserve the holiday!
Hang in there. My mother-in-love use to have have a note pinned to her kitchen curtain that read: "When you get to the end of your rope------tie a know in the end and hand on." I've never forgotten that and used it MANY more times than I like to count.

Awww you poor dear....I've always admired teachers, just don't know how they do it! Yup you should be in France and I should be in Hawaii but we're not....hmmmm, now I'm depressed! lol Hang in there my friend, the end is in sight...you'll soon be throwing up your books in the air like the students do on the last day of school! lol xox
You know Linds, your good humor and sweet spirit always shine through everything you write. You always make me smile a bit. I enjoy my visits here immensely.
Just think - the end is in sight and then the fun begins!!
Just reading your list makes me tired! There is absolutely no way I could drink 9+ cups of coffee and not be climbing the walls!! How do you do it???
xo
I am so happy for you that holiday is coming soon. As for the previous post, that doesn't sound like so much enjoyment!
Blessings, friend from far away.
I'm on the countdown with you! I have alot to do too but I don't do more than 1 cup of coffee! Keep your chin up and tackle 1 thing at a time.
Sending you big hugs from over here!(((((0)))))
A return favour, as you sent me some.
Hang on, not long to go.
Praying that God brings you a touch of refreshing and restoration from his hand and that you can sit back (for a minute or two ;-) and relax.
bless you;
